Ingredients
- 1/2 cup - pecans - chopped
- 1 package - butter recipe cake mix
- 1 package - vanilla instant pudding
- 1/2 cup - light rum
- 1/2 cup - water
- 1/2 cup - oil
- 4 eggs
Ingredients for Rum Cake Glaze
- 1 cup - sugar
- 1/2 cup - water
- 1 stick - butter
- 1/2 cup - rum
Directions
- Grease and flour a Bundt pan
- Crumble nuts in the bottom of the pan (optional)
- Mix cake mix and pudding in mixer bowl
- Add water, rum, oil, eggs and mix 2 minutes (Do not over mix)
- Pour Batter into Pan
- Bake at 325° for 50-60 minutes
- Remove and pour on Glaze
Directions for Rum Cake Glaze
- Heat in small saucepan
- Pour over cake.
